Just a quick word from your friendly neighbourhood webmaster. The CFI Okanagan website is coming along slowly but surely. I will be opening up the publishing system to select people once I clear up a few more significant bugs in the system (which currently require some pretty technical jumping-through-hoops knowledge in order to post articles).

There are also a number of other features planned, for the short term as well as the long term. Among the planned features are:

• Facebook logins (so you can use your Facebook profile to login and comment)
• Discussion forum integrated into the site (not as a separate domain)
• Amazon.ca Reseller store (to sell books straight from the site)
• Affiliate marketing store (to sell other items from other vendors, such as bumper stickers and Darwin fish)

I will do my best to keep you guys updated.

For the next short while, any suggestions and/or comments about this site would best be provided to webmaster@kabis.net. Any articles destined for publication upon this site would best be provided to rene@kabis.org. Please provide a long and descriptive subject-line, as I filter my eMail on the server prior to downloading to my workstation. A long subject-line ensures that I do not accidentally filter it as spam.

If you have registered on the CFI Okanagan forums, please do not set up an account here yet (and vice versa), as I intend to merge the two databases into one coherent login system. That way, you only have to set up an account once, and it is usable on both this site (for commenting, or for superusers to post articles) as well as the forum.
